Easter Sunday in The Alex Brasserie is all about spending quality time with family and friends while enjoying a delicious Roast on the Coast. Sit back, take in our stunning panoramic views, and let us handle all the hard work.

We’re extending food service from 4pm to 6pm, giving you even more opportunity to indulge. And then, from 6pm onwards, we’ll be serving the Café Bar menu in The Brasserie – perfect if you’re planning to enjoy live music from “Stiff in the Morning” at 9:30pm downstairs in The Café Bar.

An Evening of New Orleans

Friday 27th March, from 6:30pm

A night not to miss, this New Orleans evening in The Alex Brasserie captures the spirit and rhythm of the city. The menu moves from Steam Boat Punch and Oysters Rockefeller into sharing boards of Shrimp Remoulade, Po’ Boys, Gumbo, Creole Daube of Beef and Shrimp Étouffée, with cornbread and more. Pecan pie and beignets finish the set. Live music from BearFootSoul lifts the atmosphere, bringing a true taste of New Orleans to the Felixstowe seafront.

Sip and Paint Party ‘Queen Bee’

The Alex Café Bar is excited to be hosting “The Funky Easel Sip & Paint Party”. Get ready to unleash your inner artist while sipping on your favourite drinks.

The Funky Easel is a Sip & Paint experience that will light you up & unearth your inner artistic creativity! It’s an experience which offers you the opportunity to unwind, have fun with friends (or on your own) and do something completely different, whilst enjoying a glass of your favourite tipple!

The session starts at 7-9pm with Queen Bee. The Alex Café Bar is open throughout the afternoon to allow you time to order drinks and food if fancy a nibble before you begin.  (Food and drinks are to be purchased separately. The ticket price does not include this.)

You will be led by a professional artist, guiding you step by step through the process, offering individual tips and guidance, to create a finished work of art to take home at the end of the evening. No experience is necessary, and all artistic abilities are welcomed. All materials are also provided.
