Celebrate Father’s Day at The Alex

Gather the whole family for a Roast on the Coast, with panoramic Felixstowe views in The Brasserie and a long, leisurely meal with loved ones. Tuck into favourites like beef strip-loin or leg of lamb, served with all the trimmings—think roast potatoes, a proper Yorkie, honeyed carrots and parsnips, and plenty of gravy. Just be sure to save a little room for dessert—the sticky toffee pudding sundae with salted caramel sauce is well worth it.

If you’d prefer to keep things a little more casual, the Café Bar is perfect for a laid-back catch-up over a drink and a bite to eat, with favourites like beer battered cod and chips or a classic burger and fries on the menu. And if the sun’s shining, our patio is the ideal spot to sit back, soak up the sea air and watch the world go by.

A Taste of Greece brings a fun evening to The Alex Brasserie, with generous sharing boards served to your table. Begin with warm rosemary lagana and classic Greek dips, before enjoying a selection of tender meats and fresh seafood alongside a vibrant Greek salad.

Dessert keeps things traditional and indulgent, with honey‑soaked loukoumades and a silky filo custard tart.

And of course the evening wouldn’t be complete without the unmistakable sounds of ABBA performed live by Chelsea Francis, adding a fun, feel‑good soundtrack to your night.

Sip & Paint Party: ‘Santorini Escape’

Tuesday 23rd June, from 7pm

The Alex Brasserie is excited to be hosting “The Funky Easel Sip & Paint Party”. Get ready to unleash your inner artist while sipping on your favourite drinks.

The Funky Easel is a Sip & Paint experience that will light you up & unearth your inner artistic creativity! It’s an experience which offers you the opportunity to unwind, have fun with friends (or on your own) and do something completely different, whilst enjoying a glass of your favourite tipple!

The session starts at 7-9pm with Santorini Escape. The Alex Café Bar is open throughout the afternoon to allow you time to order drinks and food if fancy a nibble before you begin.  (Food and drinks are to be purchased separately. The ticket price does not include this.)

You will be led by a professional artist, guiding you step by step through the process, offering individual tips and guidance, to create a finished work of art to take home at the end of the evening. No experience is necessary, and all artistic abilities are welcomed. All materials are also provided.
